One week after the first bugfix. This time not just fixes — Breathe is getting more personal.

Track your mood

After every meditation, Breathe now asks: “How do you feel?” Five hand-drawn icons — calm, happy, neutral, tired, sad — are enough to capture the moment. No pressure, no text fields. One tap, done. Your mood is saved with the session, so you can spot patterns over time. Works without an account too.

New statistics

The session calendar is replaced by a bar chart. Switch between weekly, monthly, and yearly views and see at a glance: How many sessions? How much total time? What was your longest meditation? The session list below filters automatically to the selected period. Four key metrics at a glance.

Volume control in the timer

You can now adjust the volume directly in the meditation view — no need to switch to the control center. The slider appears on touch and disappears automatically after 1.5 seconds.

Better accessibility

VoiceOver support from the last update has been expanded further. With VoiceOver active, a number input with numpad now appears instead of the scroll picker for timer settings. Reading order is optimized, roles are properly assigned, decorative elements are hidden. Breathe should be usable for everyone — that remains a priority.

Under the hood

The sound system has been fundamentally reworked. Background sounds now loop seamlessly, without dropouts or memory issues — even for hour-long sessions. Sounds are preloaded during the warmup phase so playback works reliably with a locked screen. The progress ring now runs from full to empty — matching the countdown. And at the end of meditation, there’s a gentle 800ms fade-out instead of an abrupt stop.

Just breathe.
